This
site was built sometime in the 70’s or 80’s, or
perhaps even earlier. It’s been said that for a time
the location had been used as a holiday retreat for lucky
employees or guests of a major corporate group.
The property sports 2 accommodation towers, one 3 storeys
high and the other 2 storeys. In the front garden is a kidney
shaped swimming pool, which to no surprise has since become
a major mosquito breeding pool. On one of my first explores
here in 2003, a small band of migrant workers had taken up
residence inside the guard hut at the front of the property.
At the time, they seemed unsure of my presence as to exactly
what I was doing there, but one of them seemed open enough
and actually began showing me around the place! They seemed
proud to be living there and were actually attempting to keep
the place relatively clean, sweeping up old leaves and debris.
Today (2016) the migrant
workers have long moved out leaving the location to decay
away peacefully behind newly errected metal hoardings.
